I adore William Powell. Those are great photos. One of the true greats of a bygone era.
ReplyDeleteNot the most handsome of all the hollywood stars; but certainly the most charismatic. I have loved him since my teen yrs after watching the Thin Man in the 90s.
ReplyDeleteSuch a remarkable actor who was one of the greats. Such a uniquely gorgeous man who was so beloved and respected.
ReplyDeleteI was so moved to see the photo of powell with his mother at the funeral of Jean Harlow, he was so tramatized by her death, he must of loved her so much.😪
ReplyDeleteWilliam Powell was one of my favorite actors besides king gable the way they wore the mustache during the heyday is why I wear mine like they did class personified
DeleteWilliam Powell was truly a great actor who was able to give such an honest and believable portrayal of every character he played... his on screen personality is magnetic and does not seem that this personality could not be far from the real man.
ReplyDeleteWilliam Powell exuded both class and an incredible talent for both comedy and drama. He was one of the best actors to ever come out of Hollywood. Can’t help but watch whenever any of his movies are on TV, no matter how many times I’ve seen them!
ReplyDeleteClass and humor! Who could ask for more?
