The house museum has been open to the public since 2000...
I live in Queens not far from his house, only two towns over, and as a birthday outing for me years ago my family and I went to see it. It's decorated exactly as his wife had it when he passed, and in the bedroom even his robe is laid out on the bed. It's like a time capsule and well worth seeing. A very nondescript house in that it's just like all of the others in that part of Corona, but inside she decorated it with the best. It's nicely done. And walking through you can't help but to think about the famous people that must've hung out there at one point or another, Sinatra, Crosby, Ella, etc...
