I remember seeing it and thinking he was a gifted actor, but I can't seem to find the name of the movie in any of the on-line biographies. Can anyone remember this film?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3224037410105354251.post-40081996774937328802014-08-21T11:48:57.713-07:002014-08-21T11:48:57.713-07:00Yes, Lane is a gifted actor. In roles like Butley and Laughter on the 23rd floor, he was wonderful, and his role on the Good Wife has proven that as well. He would make a wonderful Costello. He was supposed to play Jackie Gleason in a movie (which would certainly use his range of comedy and drama) but after Brad Garrett's made-for-TV biopic tanked, there was little interest in it. Sad to say. He is able to make you howl with laughter and break your heart with a glance. What range!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3224037410105354251.post-23951461974738663222014-08-21T06:08:35.079-07:002014-08-21T06:08:35.079-07:00Great article.
