It is an excellent encapsulation. She really did have a beautiful singing voice, and although I enjoy the albums from the 1960s, I think her best work overall was from the 1930s through the 1950s. During that period her style was more relaxed and fluid. However, her Christmas album from the 1960s is a must-have during the holiday season. I highly recommend to anyone to give a listen to her songs from the 1930s and 1940s, her 1954 Capitol record album that was arranged and conducted by Nelson Riddle, and her Tops albums from the late-1950s (which include her first Christmas album, which is as good - if not better - than the second one).Colonel Potterbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01851402097041924668noreply@blogger.com
